"Ecology Notes" is a one channel video essay, a result of field investigation, putting forward an ecological reading view of contemporary society. Ming took a series of photographic and processing the pictures into a kind of sketch style, and inserted the text of ecology between the process of reading. Because of the juxtaposition of the texts and pictures which belong to different category, it makes the process of reading to reform a new sense. Seemingly unrelated context, continue a kind of dialectics in the process of reading. And finally, the pictures reflect the status of the city where the artist lives, and the texts is like a note for studying the city.
